Want to show your love with a unique gift this year?
A surprise birthday gift that blew the socks off the recipient.
Take your ideas out of your head and onto the wall.
In order of appearance:
1. To celebrate the life of a loved one who passed too soon. His actual deck was used here instead of a blank where we discussed many of his favourite activities to include like snowboarding, fishing, PBR, and his beloved cats.
2. Custom board for a younger brother. He loves his computers, and musical instruments as well as his car. He’s a tinkerer so we discussed including a lot of intricate imaginative machinery in the design for him.
3.Totally off the rails totem pole commission for a musician who hunted for deer and mushrooms in the woods with his dog and partner. His eye-opening stories inspired this flowering totem mandala deck.
4. The Harry potter enthusiast who commissioned this piece loved the Cerebus and owl elements of the story, but wanted me to interperet in my own style.
5. A custom commission for a pizza eating, mountain dew drinking Colorado resident looking for some skinny art to decorate their home.
6. Colorado commission celebrating their anniversary and highlighting their lifestyle of cycling to microbreweries and mountain climbing (Not in that order)
That’s my foot in the boot, I was working at skateparks with Moutnain Dew with a broken leg hanging out in skateparks handing out custom decks to the kids during an experiential promotional event.
A selection of the decks that were created in the heat of the moment at the skatepark live for the customers.
The sun was setting on another day of live painting boards at the skatepark for Mountain Dew.
Live painting isn’t always in the studio or on a stage, this was down at Bondi Beach in Sydney for a morning TV spot.
One of a Kind was the promotional items that IMC investors used to attract high performers at a jobs fair for their high frequency trading recruitment.
The kids loved these free decks they received from Mountian Dew at the promo event.

Robots should be able to surf pretty soon right?
Using the latest technology and digital collage techniques I created this anima-hybrid futursim tribal totem deck design.

A surprise birthday gift for my client’s brother, obviously a bigtime Halo and football fan. Trying to blend space and astroturf together in a halo world was a fun concept to work on here.
Signwriting is a part of the job when a beachouse decorator wanted to show off their pride of place.
Brekky brunch board
The spiritual snake for this customer was a strong spiritual symbol to support their success.
This was a homemade surfboard I created, the design was the best feature, it was a slow ride for my first sculpting and fibreglass job.
The second board I’d made myself under my brand No Eye Deer reflects the skill level of our construction skills, the art was on point though!
You are what you eat, those seagulls at the beach might as well be made of fries.
Custom surfboard fins for a boyfriend’s secret birthday surprise.
The sunrise live art session here for the promotional TV spot was a great cause and a great day to get outta bed.
As the kids won their decks from the Mountain Dew team, I cracked open my kit and prepared something custom for them on the spot, right there in the skatepark with the whole crowd watching.
I use high quality decks
Lean green mean timelines meant that these decks had to be created within an extremely tight timeline and live infrront of the crowd.
This laser cut deck was a spirit animal shaman board for the customer.
Based on the crowd suggestions we created this toony totem live.
Custom Eyeball deck for a psychedleic art collector.
Live Art decks for Mountain Dew experiential merch drop in Sydney.
The summer sun inspired one of the kids to choose a popstickle graphic.
To wish success to an employee on his new career, his colleagues chipped in to buy him a custom deck based on his passion for sticky things and burgers.
