Posh Cookie Tycoon
I painted this dood live during the third instalment of the Wax Lab open deck sesh.
We thought it would be funny to have a Cookie Monster being caged by the weight of his addiction. The posh snake raises a familiar image of our own corporations in charge.
A close up gallery from my solo show.
I've realised that I don't post enough shots of the details from my work. It's all super detailed but that's tricky to convey online. So I'm posting a buch of close ups from each of my animals.
Treasure Island, UD3 Solo Exhibition
Step on board the good ship Black Penny on Tuesday July First and join us as we christen the ship, raise the anchor and set sail on a one week adventure to Treasure Island.
It's a place where creatures are crafted from the detritus of discarded items. You might have to dig out a seeing glass to spot all the hidden treasures... I'm presenting a new body of fresh inky work inspired by the throwaway culture which created the pacific garbage patch.
The show will be featuring the debut of UD3's non-patented Find-A-Thing™ technology.
Feat Noisonous spinning the Vinyl to keep the mutiny at bay.
Drink sponsors will be involved so get yer selves in to Blacklisted Gallery for some truly black ink work and good times.
B-Grade Poster Show - Open Night (Photos)
Here are a few photos from the show I put on at Blacklisted, a tight spaced gallery within Black Penny in Sydney this week.
Such a massive relief to have it all up and a big crowd through the foot on the night. So many cool pieces were created by 31 different artists from Illustration, design and street art backgrounds.
Rock Screen Paper - Poster Exhibition
I'm involved in this awesome art exhibition on friday night of screen printed Rock inspired posters.
I will be selling hand signed and limited edition screen printed posters on the night too.
"Rock Screen Paper 2 is a competition & exhibition based on the work of artists and designers through hand screen printing of authentic numbered series.
Based off a spectacular debut and full house (300 + people) in 2013 - we wanted to do it again.
The theme is Rock N' Roll as this has been the catalyst of change and the first social revolution in the west through youth, energy and attitude in the model that has stood for political protest for decades.
This exhibition in the spirit of this genre has embraced the art as open for many an artist famous and not so - to gather and see each other s art and buy and sell and swap while collectors jump at the chance to get original numbered art by the artists.
Presented by Print Edition on Friday the 30th of May at 7.30pm and the following Saturday 31st from 10am - 10pm at the Arcade Screen Print Factory.
So not to get too serious - join us for a drink with 50 new artists and works - with a soundtrack."
